To further the education of students at the University of Canterbury and to assist the UCRFC and its members.
The Maroon Foundation is a new charitable organisation established to support and promote rugby at the University of Canterbury through the provision of scholarships, education, facilities and equipment.
The Foundation is seeking both initial and ongoing funding through contributions from University of Canterbury Rugby Football Club past and present members, supporters, University of Canterbury alumni, businesses and any other interested parties.

OUR PRIMARY PURPOSES
Education
To further the education of students at the University of Canterbury.
Assistance
Provide assistance to the University of Canterbury Rugby Football Club and its members.
Facilities
Provide facilities for the education and enhancement of rugby skills and playing of rugby in the Canterbury region.
Promotion
Promote the playing of the game of rugby football at the University of Canterbury.
